There's a special kind of joy in making tiny clothes for tiny things, and this origami maid outfit captures that charm perfectly. It's a two-piece paper costume — a neat little jacket with its signature white collar and a flared skirt — designed to dress up your folded paper dolls, action figures, or any small companion that needs a wardrobe upgrade. This easy, photo-led tutorial takes you through both pieces, so even if you're new to clothing folds you'll end up with something undeniably cute. It's a delightful project to fold alongside kids, and because the moves are simple and repeatable, you can soon assemble a whole closet of outfits in different colors. Pick two squares of paper — maybe a dark jacket and a bright skirt — and let's fold a darling little maid set together.

In such a case, how about some clothes you can change?

Open it and fold it in the middle.

From the bottom, fold thinly along the center line of the folded triangle.

Next, spread open both of the lower ends once.

Fold it at the bottom crease.

Fold along the center line from both ends.

Fold the small triangle downward.

Fold the top inner edge along the center line.

Fold it outward at the top two edges and the center line.

Fold it from the top along the line at the base of the triangle below.

If you turn it over, it will look like this.
