Orca
The orca is one of those origami models that looks far more impressive than the handful of folds it actually takes. With its rounded forehead, sleek body, and that unmistakable black-and-white patterning, a well-folded paper orca reads instantly as "killer whale" without a word of explanation. This version keeps things friendly: ten short, photo-led steps where you mostly crease, flip, and fold at the marked spots before closing the model in half. It's the kind of fold you can knock out in a few minutes and then make a dozen of, lining them up like a little pod. Grab a square—ideally one that's black on one side and white on the other—and let's dive in.
